San Francisco Bay Area

Neuropsychologist needed for 7-8 month assignment in a SF Bay Area acute rehabilitation unit. Must have experience evaluating adults with brain injuries or illnesses, developing behavior management treatment plans, writing clear and concise reports. Must have California psychologist license and appropriate inpatient or outpatient experience.

Bay Area

MSW, RN, PhD, MFT or LCSW for acute psychiatric facilities. Requires ability to do skilled psychosocial assessments, discharge planning or utilization review. Prior experience in an acute setting required. Flexible schedule, minimum of 2 shifts per month.

Sacramento Area

Medical and psychiatric social workers (MSW and LCSW) for in-patient and outpatient settings. Must have a minimum of an MSW with post masters experience in acute or community-based settings.

Lorna Forbes, MSW is the Director of Social Services. She has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Sacramento State University. Lorna first began working for DRG in May 1988 in the field as a clinical social worker. In 1992, she left DRG to become Social Services Manager for a VNA/Hospice in Washington State. She returned to CA. in 1996, and worked for eight more years in the field for DRG where she covered all arenas of medical social work. In 2004, Lorna was offered the Director of Medical Management position. She successfully managed the nursing department until January 2010, when she transferred into the Social Work Department as Director of Social Services.
